GB international lead training session

With the help of Steve Cooper we have arranged for GB international
Mike Skinner to come to Harwich on Saturday 26th September to lead
a training session.

Meeting point is by the cricket club at Low Road, starting at 9.30
with a 11am finish.

The session will be speed endurance based and will be geared towards
the forthcoming cross country season and Autumn road races. It will
be suitable for members of ALL abilites and is FREE to attend.

Mike Skinner is amongst the best endurance runners currently in the UK.
He has represented GB on road, track and country, including the World Cross
Country Championship. His 5 kilometres PB is 13 minutes.

Mike has a depth of knowledge on ways to improve as an endurance runner,
whatever your level or aims.

A SESSION NOT TO BE MISSED

Re: GB international lead training session

Just wanted to say thank you to Steve for organising this and pass on my appreciation to Mike for an excellent session today. A really well thought out session that allowed for quick re-grouping whatever your individual ability level, challenging without being completely draining and enough mileage involved to keep the milemonsters like myself happy smile On a personal level, I picked up some very useful tips for my hill running, so well worth getting out of bed for!

Hopefully Mike will come back in future to take another session, if our comedy interpretations of the drills he was demonstrating haven't put him off... lol
