Glad to hear you enjoyed it Tezza. Thought everyone did really well and the fact that we lost half the club at the mention of a quick relay spoke volumes big_smile Not sure I'll add your interesting use of household furniture to finish to my next planned session though...

Agree with Terry-another great session there (although I refrained from standing in the laundry basket afterwards-ours is wicker tongue). Reluctant to miss out on the relay, but with the Bentley 5 coming up on Friday I thought I'd better show a tiny bit of restraint! Looking forward to your next one... smile

That must have been a picture Terry!! There must have been quite a lot of shrivelling!!  Don't you have a bath in your house?

Yes have a bath but it time consuming filling it at 10 pm  hence the laundry basket - in fact its an idea i got from Dennis.  As for your first remark i did not fill it that deep smile

Re: Training 6th July 2010

An excellent session by Dennis last night - really 'enjoyed' it in the loosest possible sense of the term. Certainly nowhere to hide with a full-on hill sprint to start but it certainly showed my present fitness levels (i.e. not very!). Some great runs out there from people who I could occasionally make out in the distance: Sam, Nige, Richard, Mark R, Becky, Jase and Jonathan B looked very strong too. Uh oh! Better get some more training miles in methinks or he'll be having the better of me in the XCs! big_smile

Well done all though. Great turn out for another warm, humid evening.

Yep, another good session there last night! Agree with Tony though-we definitely had the "rough end of the pineapple" starting on the hilly side yikes
