Training Tues 15th Dec

As you may know I will be taking the training this week.

The session will be looking at using untapped reserves of energy, there will be steady hills & sprints with suitable rest for all abilities.

Please come and enjoy.

Re: Training Tues 15th Dec

Hi Miranda, Loved the training this evening a jolly good session where I was able to push myself round a total of 6.71miles (according to Tony),4 laps of the hills with the small detour at the end following Elspeth to see the "amazing light display of the vines" OMG cannot believe that people actually compete with each other for the best / most lights in the street.  Gave me a chuckle though which was really needed as we headed back to the club.  Heart rate peaked at 183 so I know I worked hard will see the effects tomorrow smile.  Thanks again this was my day 2 of Marathon training where I needed a min of 5 miles, so definatley have a sense of satisfaction that I achieved it and with a little extra.

Re: Training Tues 15th Dec

Yep. Agree with everything there. A really good session Miranda - nice one. My legs were really tired after Sunday's XC but it felt good, well not good, actually horrid but in a good way horrid, to have a hard session on the Vineways as I haven't done one in ages. Couldn't keep up with the Group 2a crowd but kept it going with Dan P and we even managed an extra 1/2 lap to be a swot for coach. Next week I'll bring in an apple. Locally grown of course.

Roll on Sunday and some nice muddy XC training in the Wrabness woods at 9am tongue

A good start to your marathon training Anna I reckon!

Cheers

Re: Training Tues 15th Dec

Thanks for all the lovely messages guys.
I was really nervous as it was my first one but you all seemed to enjoy it and that is great.
Lovely to have a chat with Becky on the way there and Anna L on the way back.

Very much looking forward to Claire's session next week.
